In addition to BeLinkers, we have created a wide variety of on-site interactive products, including data-driven touchscreen kiosks and wall-mounted monitors.

Case Studies

Interactive Alumni and Donor Wall at the BJC College of Nursing

You cannot enter a hospital, college or many corporate offices without seeing brass plaques commemorating all sorts of donors, alumni, past presidents, etc. When the Goldfarb School of Nursing built their new facility in St. Louis, they planned to avoid covering their beautiful new walls with all the old plaques. Instead, they deployed a new Interactive Donor wall to provide information found from decades of graduates, historical photos and hundreds of donors who helped to raise the new facility together. Now instead of wandering the building looking for the seat in memory of a loved one, visitors can look them up, see their class picture, learn about their involvement in the school and then be directed to exactly where to find their part of the new school.

Brass plaques cannot speak, cannot tell you story in its own words and cannot show you pictures. The Donor Wall brings all of the rich heritage to life for generations to come.

Interactive Donor and Remembrance Wall at the Holocaust Museum

The most important historical treasures held by the Holocaust Museum are the stories and photos of those who survived this horrific time period. At the entrance to the St. Louis Museum and Learning Center is a new interactive display featuring short vignettes of these stories along with the easy access to all of the supporters of the facility.

The 46” touch wall is very close to a learning library, so discrete and directional sound was very important to the Museum Director. Perfecting the installation and sound was critical and turned out quite well. Visitors young and old are raving about the beautiful photos, video and stories told in the words of real people. Brass plaques on walls could never evoke this sort of engaged experience. Museum patrons love to see their family photos and stories about why they chose to support the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center. Because the museum is housed in a much larger administration building, this lobby display allows people who might not otherwise choose to explore the museum to experience what they would see if they took the time to take it all in.

Ritz-Carlton Newport Sales Gallery

When you own and operate some of the very finest properties all over the world, you’d like to be able to show stunning photos of these locations to prospective clientele in order to entice them to spend their hard-earned dollars within your network of resorts. And that’s just what we were challenged to create inside the new Ritz-Carlton Club West Coast Sales Center in Newport Beach, CA.

As sales professionals meet and extol the virtues of becoming an owner of Ritz-Carlton property they pass through a corridor of what appears to be framed artwork. But upon closer inspection, they quickly realize these richly framed and matted prints are morphing into new imagery constantly. The effect is as if backlit graphics of exciting locations are blending from image to image.

To support the sales process the images are timed so the sales person can know where along the hallway to make sure to stand so that the prospective buyer can be seeing images attuned to their desires. Supporting the sales process is the number one goal of his project and they simply love how it helps them close the sale!

Darden Restaurant’s Capital Grilles

On any given day there are groups of people assembling in private rooms for business meetings and social gathering of 10-50 people inside one of the finest chains of steakhouses in the US; the Capital Grille. When their private dining rooms aren’t set up for regular dining guests, they are rented for private gatherings over fine food and spirits. Our challenge was to “hide” a large screen multi-media presentation system capable of presenting everything from a PowerPoint to the Superbowl while at the same time, not hindering the usage of the room for regular guests. The solution is an exciting blend of technology, creativity and automation that allows a few quick adjustments to the rooms and then ITS SHOWTIME! Utilizing mirrors, specialty glass, short-throw projection technology and wireless High-Definition transmitters, we embedded everything needed to create a fully flexible environment without changing the look of the room. Offering this high-tech package to meeting planners will make a big difference in a market where there are lots of choices. And Darden has asked us to do this in 16 more locations.

NBC DVD Café

By converting 200 square feet of under-utilized space into prime revenue producting retail space, we created a new hotspot in Rockefeller Plaza; The NBC/Universal DVD Café. Shoppers are encouraged to relax, enjoy and become a part of an immersive “NBC Experience.” The best part of this project is it went from concept to installation in just 10 weeks. Thanksgiving to Christmas is the busiest time of year so it was critical to have this project completed on a very short timeframe.

Centered around 3 touch screen video viewing systems, shoppers are able to sample, select and purchase DVDs and other high-margin items all in one oasis from the busy shopping experience. And the shoppers have responded well, in less than three months the Café paid for itself by returning a 400% increase in DVD sales during the peak holiday season. And it continues to entertain and sell to this day.

History of Jeep Digital Slider Wall

Capturing the attention of information-overloaded tradeshow attendees requires an exceptionally appealing and one-of-a-kind experience. The Digital Slider lets individual move a monitor across data points on a wall graphic, which instructs the onboard computer to display graphics, animations, audio, and video content. By adding depth to the two-dimensional wall, large amounts of information can be conveyed in a way that is not cluttered or overwhelming. The individual controls the pace and depth of the experience and the result is an interactive enjoyable experience that informs and influences.

Excellent for displaying timelines and full immersive product tours the Digital slider also appears in a smaller size for corporate lobbies and museums that are tight on budget or space.

The iWall is a product of Lynch Exhibits. Permission to utilize the Jeep iWall was given by our partners in this project Group 360 Communications.
