WE LOVE WHAT WE DO. AND WE DO WHAT WE LOVE.
Our company is comprised of incredibly talented team members who possess a wide breadth and depth of event industry and SaaS experience. From a room of 100 to the Fortune 500, our team has worked with events of all types and every bit of that experience has shaped our mobile applications. We support events big and small, delivering intelligent mobile solutions that benefit attendees and stakeholders alike.
A different approach to mobile apps from the heartland
We’re proud to be a part of the St. Louis tech renaissance at a time when the city is exploding with innovation. Our mobile platform is a new ‘Big Data’ opportunity in a largely untracked industry that will significantly increase ROI and business value for every event participant in the $3.5B event market that we serve. By capturing the digital trail of every tradeshow or conference attendee – from breakouts to expo booths to networking parties and even personal interactions – BusyEvent Mobile will facilitate new profit centers for organizers and a new era of the way we think of tradeshow marketing.
Organizations that Make a Difference
There are professional organizations in every field and in the events and conference industry, there are more than most. From those with an international focus, a specific mission or a specific interest, we wanted to be involved with the industry associations that were making the greatest impact in the events industry. Our criteria focused on these critical areas:
- Does the association encourage and provide formal and informal professional development and mentoring? As career-long event professionals, the things we’ve learned from our peers and the opportunity to contribute back to the industry has always been of great importance to us.
- Are there networking opportunities? Not only for business development reasons (raise your hand if you hate sales-trolls!), but more importantly our belief that the events industry is about the people we work with and for and the amazing things we get to do.
- What is the organization’s focus? Is its mission about serving a small sliver of the events industry or a broad-based interest in making a difference?
- Does the organization have a political voice or a broader influence to keep our industry healthy? Frankly, this was one of the toughest criteria to evaluate since not everything we see some organizations doing, we agree with. But, rather than disagreeing from the outside, we sought out those organizations that welcomed contrarian views and encouraged discourse.
In all, we believe we’ve found those organizations that not only fit our criteria, but also are the most important organizations for our industry. We encourage you to consider joining us and joining these event professional associations.
